natebuzz 7 days ago this man’s life was taken in the most inhumane way. Period. It can only be described as PURE Human Evil, void of any mercy or compassion. As a Christian I have been in shock at what our world is.. I don’t say what our world has “become” because it’s always been like this, sitting below the surface, but now it’s more visible, better documented and spread faster then ever before. Black lives matter George Floyd’s life mattered Ahmaud Arbery’s life mattered. And the countless unnamed victims who’s deaths haven’t been horrific enough to go viral, their lives mattered also. I have seen Los Angeles a city I called home for 10 years burn on the television while I’m back home taking care of my family. I have watched in horror as the United States a country that took me in, is being crippled by hate. I have actually come to hate social media. I Hate that everyone needs to weigh in on everything immediately as if we are just programmed robots. Void of feelings, void of pain, just billboards for the mob, targets for the Godless and self righteous. Like I said I’m a Christian, a follower of Jesus. People somehow forget that Jesus was “the” innocent man who was killed at the hands of human evil. Here you see God’s love and man’s evil clash in a single moment within human history. This is what I choose to share in the face of our world’s consistent hate & prejudice. People want me to use my voice, but don’t want to listen to my message. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. WE LOVE, BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

natebuzz Where the rubber meets the Road. The point at which a theory or idea is put to a practical test. If the world has fallen for sin, we must fall in love with the person of Jesus & His narrow Path which leads the humble in heart back to God. Reading + understanding + living out the gospel is Where the rubber meets the road. Where Mankind meets God.

natebuzz Jesus says the Father is greater then I, but have you ever gone past this statement and actually asked what was jesus SHOWING by saying this Specific statement publicly? Sure he was declaring the Fathers Greatness, but he is also revealing something far more powerful and profound, below the surface of words and in the truth of actions. Don’t miss it. To say someone is greater then I is to honor that person above yourself. To give them glorify by elevating their status above your own. Jesus didn’t come to tell you He was God. He came to REVEAL & display the fullness of God for you to experience. Jesus wasn’t created, He existed from the beginning and choose to take on human flesh & despite that fact He continued to live out his unbreakable relationship with the Father. A selfless Son can only do one thing when it comes to His Father. That is to glorify Him above Himself. This is what real love looks like, it is sacrificial by nature. And what does the Father do in return? Well He glorifies the son By giving Him “All authority in heaven and on earth” yep All things - GIVEN Thats the foundation of a real relationship. And now we can understand that God was in a selfless community within his fullness - father son and spirit from the beginning and for All time. I can better understand God’s character and nature through Jesus’ life and the declarations He made like this one. Now the statement ‘God is love’ has life in Jesus words and actions. Jesus wasn’t telling you, He was showing you. Now Some Beliefs just state that “God is mighty” Or “God is all powerful” but that doesn't show much it just says much. Our God puts his love on display in a very practical and visible way. Let me tell you something Love is far more powerful then pride. Jesus could have come down here and claimed He was God, but my God is humble so He came down He and put it on display so you the listener could make up your own mind. The Father sent the Son. The Son sent the Spirit. The Spirit testifies about the Son. & The Son testifies about the Father. Love. Relationship. Community. All found in the God of the Bible He who is Father, Son, and spirit.

natebuzz God kept his promise to give the land to the Israelites. However in Deuteronomy 11:29 clear instructions from God we’re given to the people he had chosen to enter into a covenant relationship with. The 12 Twelves were told to separate into two groups. Six tribes were to stand on mount Gerizim to recite the blessings; that which is connected to OBEYING God’s covenant. Then the remaining other Six tribes were to stand on mount Ebal (the opposing mountain) to recite the consequences of DISOBEYING God’s covenant. Symbolically it’s clear what sits between these two mountains. God’s word & God’s covenant with our choice to choose. In Deuteronomy 30:19 Moses offers this stark reality to exactly what is at hand for the Israelites. He says; I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live. This biblical event took place in history around 1451BC. Now I want to fast forward to 30AD. Some 1,481 years later. We pick up in Johns gospels 3:36 and a prophet named John the Baptist says this about Jesus; He who believes in the son has ETERNAL LIFE; buuuuut (big but) he who does NOT OBEY the son will NOT see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. What is clear from Johns words? 1. Obedience 2. disobedience 3. a blessing 4. a curse. Sound familiar right? But now it’s directly anchored to Jesus the son of God. Side note: Remember what Jesus said in Luke 22:20 A new covenant has been made in MY blood. Here is what blew me away. The immediate story after John the Baptist’s claim is Jesus’ encounter with a Samaritan women at a well. A Well that is found between two mountains. Yes, The same two mountains mentioned previously It even says that Jesus sat at the Well. So again we find the WORD OF GOD sitting in the middle of our two MOUNTAINS of choice a Blessing or a curse. God tells us both so we might choose. Moses pleads with us to choose life! And now Jesus our Lord & our God has come to the foot of those mountains to help us See truth, to Choose life once again by choosing him and choosing His path. Coincidence? No way..

natebuzz The adventure is not making it there, but rather making this far and then somehow finding your way back home again. For me, Home is the place where my heart can Rest In Peace. The place where love is waiting for me to greet me at the door. I can honestly say with absolute confidence that there are many adventures but there is only one true home. Goodnight x

natebuzz Psalm 90 arguably the oldest psalm was a prayer written by Moses, it says; Lord, you have been our dwelling place in ALL generations. BEFORE the mountains were BORN or you gave birth to the earth and the world, even from EVERLASTING to EVERLASTING you are GOD. If you turn to John chapter 17 verse 24 you hear these words of Jesus; Father, I desire that they also, whom you have GIVEN me, be with me where I am, so that they may see MY GLORY which you have GIVEN me, for you LOVED me BEFORE the FOUNDATION of the world. Yes that’s right this relationship between Jesus and the Father existed in eternity past. Before the mountains, before the Earth before ALL creation itself. The very foundation of Love, relationship & community existed in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Giving, sharing, partaking in love - the principal law of life for the universe. Jesus goes on to say this; o righteous father, although the WORLD has not KNOWN you, yet I have KNOWN YOU; and these have known that YOU sent me; and I have made YOUR NAME KNOWN to them, and will make it KNOWN, so that the LOVE with which YOU loved me may be in THEM, and I in them. Please don’t miss that. BOTH LOVE AND JESUS in them By choosing to take on human flesh God chooses to bind himself to humanity through Jesus. You can’t break the bond between father and Son, No matter how hard you try, no matter what argument you make you will fail. And now because God took on flesh you can’t break the bond between Jesus and his chosen elect. No matter how Hard you try, no matter what force you use, He will continue to call them into the light. His Elect, his disciples His own. One at a time, a day at a time until the end this Time. In Eternity past the father loved the son, in Eternity future we will be one just as they are One. In relationship, in community, in love. And just like that, in the blink of an eye we will see His glory! The glory of Jesus so every tongue will confess God’s everlasting Goodness in Christ through Christ forever. Amen. This photo was taken in Joshua tree, The Hebrew name for Joshua is Yeshua. Yeshua is the name of our messiah. It means salvation.

natebuzz PSALM 37:34 Wait for the LORD and keep His way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you will see it. In Matthews gospel Jesus says this; blessed are the humble for they shall inherit the earth. Can you see the connection? The wicked will be cut off, the humble will be exalted. The result will be final. Jesus gives warning to those who are rich now, those who are well fed now, those who are seemingly care free now & those who are socially popular now, that their time has an immediate expiration date. There is going to be a flip of the switch so to speak. A sinking of those pillars of sand many have fallen in love with. If you read through Psalm 37 you realize it doesn’t promise the Christian an increase in personal wealth, the redivision of property, or the opportunity to gloat over the suffering of enemies, but instead what the afflicted SHOULD deeply desire: the assurance that the future belongs to them. A TBA (To be announced) date. We the believer need to trust that the final outcome is in the hands of Jesus. I would add this; to hold fast to Paul’s wise words - suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character and character, hope. Jesus was bringing this psalm to life when he preached the Good news of the gospel in Galilee. Psalm 37 was written 1000 years earlier but finishes in this manner. But all sinners will be destroyed; there will be NO future for the wicked. The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of TROUBLE. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they TAKE refuge in him. My message to you is this; Don’t beg for worldly wealth, pray for heavenly riches. Riches of Knowing our King & delighting in His ways. Jesus say it’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God. Why? Because those with money now those with comfort today think they need less of Christ. Those with neither money or comfort now know they only have Christ, and some how their Joy is full & complete! We serve an awesome God - discover more of Him today, open your bible.

natebuzz We want the Good world now, but do we want the Good King? Do we want the only King who brings in the Good world? Is it a coincidence that Jesus was born into the Jewish line of Kings, the same line that had previously failed to live up to God’s expectation of what a Good King is? Is it coincidence that God promised King David 1000 years before Christ that someone will come who will rule & reign over his kingdom Forever. But Who can permanently defeat death since forever is not something we can achieve as we are now? Is it a coincidence then that Jesus said he would die at the hands of evil men and be raised up on the third day establishing a new covenant with those who were humble and willing and able to see him for who He is? Here is the reality, God will one day come good on His promise to restore, redeem and renew what is so obviously broken both in humanity and the kingdoms of this world which seek power and control without compassion and justice. But this is not the promise you need first. The promise you need first, the promise you need now is the promise Christ made to us before He ascended to His father who’s will and work He did here on Earth as it is in heaven. From this mountain top pictured above, The mount of olives just before Bethany, Jesus spoke these words to his followers. “I am with you, always, even to the end of the age.” I AM WITH YOU. That’s the promise I need, that’s the promise you need. That’s the promise we all need. For the last three nights I have listened to psalm 27 over and over again, In my troubles, in my fears, in my worries, in my own personal questions to God. King David wrote these words. And these words paint a picture of our returning King. “My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek. (My God wants you to know him and see him. Face to face. It’s Jesus who we will stand before, its His face we must seek now) I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:8, 13-14‬ His promise, to His faithful is Good. Amen.

natebuzz We Might have taken it all for granted. So What’s the lesson? Don’t take what you have now, no matter what it is, as little as it could be for granted as well. But INSTEAD, Appreciate what you have while you have it. Cause when it’s gone. It could be Gone, For Good. While you’ve still Got it; BE GRATEFUL BE GRACIOUS, & most importantly BELIEVE IN GOD THE FATHER, BELIEVE IN GOD THE SON, & BELIEVE IN GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT. Everything that has and is and will be given to you is by His Good nature. Amen
