mariashriver It’s time for us to pause. To speak to one another. To listen to one another. To work together. Let’s rise above the noise, and learn from the mistakes of the past. We will only move forward together. #inspireheartsandminds

mariashriver Are you speaking up, or are you shutting people down? Are you lifting others up or only yourself? We all have a voice, but we all have a responsibility with how use our voice. How are you using yours? I choose to inspire and lift up. Join me! #abovethenoise

mariashriver Let’s ask, and let’s keep asking. It’s time to be there for each other. It’s time to depend on others, even if you aren’t used to asking for help. We’ve all had our own experiences, but we can all find ways to come together on this moment a be a shoulder to lean on. Tag that friend that needs this reminder right now. Let them know you are thinking of them, then reach out! We can all make a difference, we can all move humanity forward, one person at a time! #movehumanityforward

mariashriver I say your name over and over. I read your words. Please I can’t breathe. I stop. I see the video. I can’t believe what I see. I stop. I didn’t know you in life, but I know this isn’t how any human being deserves to be treated. When you were born, your mother said your name. Now in death, it’s up to all of us to collectively speak your name until justice is served. George Floyd #justiceforgeorgefloyd

mariashriver I shared this Apache Blessing in @thesundaypaper this weekend. As we are all going through a time of transition— the change from spring to summer, graduations, slowly leaving our homes — may we find comfort from the earth around us. What brings you calm and peace during these time of unrest? What would you add if you were to write a line to this blessing? Let me know in the comments below, and for more inspiration, follow @thesundaypaper and subscribe in the link in my bio! #inspireheartsandminds

mariashriver There are always inspiring stories like this one my daughter, @katherineschwarzenegger shared with me from @cnn today. Stories that move humanity forward, stories that make us smile, stories that inspire our hearts and minds! We all need these stories right now, and I want to see them. Send me the stories that inspire you! Message me or share them to info@mariashriver.com. Let’s help spread some joy in the world! #inspireheartsandminds

mariashriver Giving thanks to all those who paid the ultimate price for us, and giving deep respect to their families who carry on. 🇺🇸 #memorialday

mariashriver We are all experiencing this time differently. Some have lost their lives or their livelihoods. Others have lost hope. Some are remembering loved ones who lost their lives in a war defending our freedoms. Others are just trying to get back to work so they can put food on the table for their families. Let’s try to be respectful of each other. Let’s show compassion and kindness. Let’s show that no matter what, we will continue to move humanity forward. 🙏🏻 #mondaymeditation

mariashriver This may be the start of summer, but it’s an uncertain time for just about everyone I speak to, myself included. In fact, it’s a fragile time for so many. So, let’s be gentle with one another. We don’t really know what people have gone through these past few months. So as we start a new week, as we unofficially start the summer, take the time to take stock. To reflect, to honor those who have served, and to honor your own journey. We all will figure this out, in our own time. #sundayeveningreminder
