gwynethpaltrow Today’s chop was of the grilled variety. I coated these ingredients in evoo, salt and pepper, then grilled in my little grill pan: chicken breast, zucchini, asparagus. Then chopped them up to a nice bite size. Meanwhile I blistered two bell peppers directly on the burner til charred, let them rest in a paper bag, then peeled/seeded/chopped. All went on a bed of romaine with scallions (which i also wanted to grill but I forgot) and chiffonade of basil on the zucchini. You could use any veggies you like, really. You could throw in canned beans, too. Any vinaigrette would work but I used an anchovy one (great with roasted peppers). Left over crab from the other day went great with cocktail sauce on the side. ❤️

We have welcomed many babies into the world from its halls, including my son Moses in 2006. gwynethpaltrow Today’s lunch chopped salad was a classic Cobb. These are so easy to do with whatever you have in the fridge, really. I grilled chicken breast, pan fried bacon and hard boiled eggs while I washed and chopped the rest. Avocado, blue cheese and scallions. Served with my standby vinaigrette.
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons real maple syrup
1/4 red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Whisk together mustard, maple syrup and vinegar. Slowly whisk in oils, and season to taste with salt and pepper
gwynethpaltrow We religiously follow @eater_la who graciously let us know via one of their guides that the venerable @mama_luskitchen was selling their famous dumplings frozen. Moses made the dipping sauce. The rest is history.
